Leadership Powell is a community leadership development program offered by The Powell Area Chamber of Commerce to existing & emerging leaders. This 8-month program takes participants on a journey to increase their knowledge of the Powell area, past and present, & gain a better understanding of the area. local leaders share business & leadership insights through presentations, interactive sessions & behind-the-scenes tours.

Leadership Powell is for anyone wanting to learn and grow in our community.  We seek applicants who are willing to commit the time, energy and resources necessary to actively participate in and graduate from the program.  The goal is to graduate leaders which are knowledgeable and informed regarding our government and business community.

Class members and their employers must be willing to commit the necessary time to fully participate in the program.  To graduate, a participant may not miss more than one session.

Utilities, how they function throughout the county
Economic Development and Transit Systems. How Intel will affect Powell
Health Care and leadership challenge
History, Arts and Culture of our community
Tourism and how it affects our community.
